Martinsville Indiana Teacher Arrested
Martinsville High School teacher and boys basketball coach was arrested on Sunday for allegedly sitting naked in his car, which was parked near a play ground at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis..
According to the police report, an officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was patrolling the Eagle Creek Park when he noticed a car parked about 30 to 40 feet away from a playground.
The officer noted he observed that Timothy Wolf, 65, was naked while sitting in his car.
Wolf was arrested and preliminarily charged with indecent exposure. According to what I heard on Channel 13 news he was with a 17 year old girl.
As a member of this community I am very disappointed ! It's the kids that really get hurt by something as bad as this.

Fishing report Feb. 09, 2012
Fishing has picked up just a little bit in the farm ponds around Martinsville and Morgan county. A few bass, bluegill, and crappie are being caught. Bass are hitting plastic baits, jig & pig, and jerkbaits. Bluegill on bee moth. Crappie on pink jigs with minnows vertically jigged in 15 to 25 feet deep water. No other reports..

Rep. Foley Honors Martinsville Students
STATEHOUSE — Rep. Ralph Foley (R-Martinsville) presented a resolution on the House floor today honoring the Spell Bowl teams of Martinsville High School and East Middle School.
“The students and the coaches from these schools have consistently demonstrated an uncanny ability to elevate the level of academics at their schools,” said Rep. Foley. “Dedication and hard work set the foundation for their success, and today, we recognize their great achievements.”
In November, the Martinsville High School Spell Bowl team took first place in the 2011 Spell Bowl State Finals at Purdue University; the team achieved a perfect score of 90. The recent victory marks the ninth first place finish for the team and the eighteenth consecutive year of placing either first or second.
The East Middle School Spell Bowl team placed second falling just two point shorts of the first place Thomas Jefferson Middle School squad. This was the seventh time East Middle School spellers have been the runner-ups in the Spell Bowl State Finals. The team of eight consisted of only three veteran players.
The Martinsville team is coached by Wayne Babbitt and the East team by his wife, Jenny Babbitt. Wayne Babbitt also coaches the Academic Decathlon at Martinsville High School.
“The coaches continue to go above and beyond their call of duty by training their teams with as high of frequency and vigor as any athletic program,” said Rep. Foley. “Wayne and Jenny Babbit are the kind of academic instructors that make a positive lifelong impact on their students.”
The Martinsville High School Spell Bowl team consists of Allison Cox, Christa Cheatham, Steven Fish, Evan Like, Danielle McDougal, Jake Mock, Isaac Mock, Michele Poindexter, Stephanie Schneck, Casey Whitaker and Olivia Wooten.
The East Middle School team included Ali Wilt, Eli Mock, Zackary Swoboda, Olivia Herbert, Kaitlin Gephart, Libby Scott, Joseph McGuire and Larry Kresse.

Fishing report Feb. 03, 2012
Farm ponds and even the Martinsville City Park have been giving up some small bass. Anglers are catching them on 1/8th oz. jig & pigs, plastic baits, and crappie minnows. All the reports I've seen come from bank anglers. Fish lures very slowly, and watch your line. Most hits are very light and most times all you'll feel or see is a little twitch in line movement.
White river is high and muddy. No reports from White river.
Hubbard's Pay Lakes I believe is still open on weekends. Call before going.
No ice here. Everything is open water.
